Founder and CEO of my food service sales and marketing company for 25 years. We handled all food service sales and marketing functions for some of the nation’s largest food manufacturers, representing companies such as Nestle, Sara Lee, and HJ Heinz. Our team quickly grew to over 75 people, including four executive chefs in multiple locations. I have served on several national advisory boards and was President of MarketTech, a national industry collaboration group. In 2006, I completed the sale of my company and joined Tech Coast Angels, becoming an investor, membership chairman, and board member; additionally, I joined the SBDC as a senior consultant in 2008.
I apply strategic planning skills and business instincts to the everyday dilemmas faced by business owners. Over the past 12 years, I’ve helped businesses access $195 MM in capital to launch and grow their businesses. I serve as a senior consultant for the SBA/SBDC and offer my experience to early-stage ventures through the SBDC at UCR.
