Dr. Kevin Glenn is an experienced Ag. Tech consultant. He spent the last 35 years at Monsanto Company with his last role in the Regulatory division as Senior Science Fellow and the Scientific Affairs Pipeline Lead. Earlier in his career at Monsanto he was the Acting Director of Cardiovascular Research for G.D. Searle. Kevin is an author on more than 75 scientific reports and 22 patents and is co-inventor of two cholesterol improving therapeutics and of a wound-healing agent. Over the past 18 years, Kevin’s research and outreach focused on the food and feed safety of genetically engineered crops. He played a leadership role to obtain regulatory approval of improved nutrition GE crops. Kevin obtained his B.S. degree in microbiology from the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and his Ph.D. in cell biology from the University of California, Irvine.

He completed an American Heart Association postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of Washington, Seattle. Kevin is past Chair of the International Food Biotechnology Committee of the International Life Sciences Institute (ILSI). Previously he chaired the ILSI Task Force on Nutritional and Safety Assessments of GM Crops and the Subcommittee on DNA/Protein Detection within the industry-wide Agricultural Biotechnology Stewardship Technical Committee (ABSTC).
