Nicole Cleary is currently serving as a project manager for OASIS, a public-private partnership led by the University of California Riverside (UCR) to drive regional economic development through solutions-driven applied research, innovation, entrepreneurship, and workforce development around sustainability, clean technology, and social inclusion. Her longstanding experience in clean transportation, air quality and energy, working with the public and private sectors, and in developing regional funding avenues involving multifaceted stakeholders, including advocating for relocation of the California Air Resources Board to the UCR campus, and in the Transformational Climate Change $45 million grant currently underway in the Inland Empire, are helpful in moving forward the OASIS collaboration. Previously, (2011-2022), Nicole served as the executive director of CE-CERT, Center for Environmental Research and Technology at the Bourns College of Engineering, and has a masters in Chemical and Environmental Engineering.
