Ram is a startup advisor, mentor, experienced product, and technology executive with a passion for building impactful products. He helped scale multiple successful companies through periods of hyper-growth and has deep experience building and leading small to large-sized teams delivering delightful product experiences. Most recently he served as VP & Head of Products at Jina AI, a series A startup, focused on generative AI powered large/foundational models (LLMs), multi-modal AIOps, and neural search technologies. Previously he was part of the leadership team at Appen managing worldwide portfolio of AI products and partnership strategy. Prior to Appen, Ram has delivered profitable revenue growth by incubating and scaling new product offerings at ResMed, Amazon, Qualcomm and Hughes serving millions of commercial businesses, consumers, and government customers. Ram combines his business expertise with a deep technical background and in particular enjoys taking ideas and turning them into real life products.

Ram received his Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, from West Virginia University, Morgantown where he was a Lane Scholar as well as a certificate in Product Management from Haas School of Business at University of California, Berkeley.
